Beds need to be updated no towel rails so towels can dry during the day great breakfast and out door areas

 Customer Review  -  6 October 2009

They gave us a lift to Efes but in return kept promoting their Kebab shop that is more expensive then anywhere else in town. We had a late bus and they let us hang around. We wanted to go to Pamukkale and instead of advising how to get there they tried to get us on an expensive tour. They advertise that they have washing machines yeah but you can't use them they charge to do your washing They charge for the air con as well. The only place in Turkey I encountered this. Felt like they were just trying to get lots of money out of us when they know we are budget travellers

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They can even help you with the next places you want to visit eg Pamukkale or Cappadocia. The drawback is only the room that we had was quite small.

 Customer Review  -  22 September 2009

You don't get blankets. Aircon is an extra 9. 50LIRA/night. Strange 'character' smell that was bearable.

 Ben Brown  -  31 August 2009

Breakfast is stupidly amazing, theres internet, free bike hire, book exchange, a guitar lying around, the hostel itself is beautiful and the guys who work there are helpful and knowledgable.

 Customer Review  -  17 August 2009

We absolutely loved this hostel! Harry the owner and Mehmet were incredibly helpful, and can answer all of your questions, will reccomend and book other hostels for you no charge. Free internet. Free ride to Ephesus whenever we wanted it and pick up was really useful. Great place to hang out and meet people, really nice airy roof terrace with lots of backgammon sets hanging around and a honesty box for drinks from the fridge. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Downsides: dorm room is huge, we were there in high season, it was full and consequentially noisy, with only 2 bathrooms for something like 30 people. That said queues for the bathroom weren't long.

 Matthew Gain  -  21 April 2009

A really friendly and laid back hostel. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. A great breakfast and the roof terrace was the perfect place to chill out. Really close to everything you need in town and there were free shuttles organised by the hostel to Ephesus. One of the best hostels I have stayed in.

 Customer Review  -  18 April 2009

We had a lovely double room with ensuite which was nice and clean. It was a quiet time at the hostel, so there wasn't a particularly exciting atmosphere, however in Summer I imagine it would be great. The staff could have been slightly more helpful/informative - there was also the instance of staff saying negative things about a competitor hostel that we were going onto next. That was a little uncomfortable!

 Kinya Hibi  -  24 February 2009

Mehmet was GREAT! The other guy was not as friendly (polite and nice, but a bit cold) Mehmet really made the stay, he taught us about the art of camel wrestling and offered to teach us the secrets of finding fake carpet sellers out!. And when I was sick on the day of check out, he let us stay inside the common room so I could sleep and get better rather that make us sit in the cold. You really do need heat in the winter though!! 9 TL per night we thought was a bit pricey, maybe it should be on the website so its not such a surprise However, they kindly gave us extra blankets which was good as we were on a tight budget! We recommend it. :)
