Bodrum Backpackers is a family run concern. It was started by a husband and wife team who actually met backpacking. They loved the people and the lifestyle so much they decided to open their own place. They are a Turkish English couple with a son and baby daughter. After many years of travelling they found Turkey has so much to offer backpackers.

Bodrum was the town they easily chose because it offers everything. Their place is in the old town literally 1 minute from the beach, 5 minutes walk to the central bus station, marina and harbour. The harbour connects you by ferry to the Greek Islands.

Bodrum is the site of one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. It is steeped in history and surrounded by places of historical interest. At its heart is the magnificent St Peters Castle built by the knights of Rhodes during the crusades. It stands on a peak at the centre of Bodrum Bay. Housed in the castle is the first and largest museum of underwater archaeology.

The hottest spot in Turkey for night life is definitely Bodrum. It has endless bars and night clubs lining the marina and bay. So after some hard touring and visiting wonderful places it is the premier place to kick back, chill out and do some serious partying.
