Good value for price. Bathrooms don't have doors, but they do have curtains. Beds are a little hard, but this is a good place for the money that you pay. Breakfast, laundry, and dinner are all offered at an additional charge. The owners were very friendly. | |

Great location: one minute walking from Otogar yet peace and quiet with a terrance has great view of ballon fly in the morning; cheapest dorm rate in Goreme: 10 lira per day with comfy bad in a cave room; good valued beakfast with tasty dishes and tea of your choice and unlimited bread for only 5 lira and the dinner is the best food you can find any where and they give you more then you could handle; two internet to use free of chrge and thanks to Miyna()'s great personality and hard work, the hostel has warm and relaxed atmosphere and good place to make friends. On the tours: the underground tour(the green one) is great and cost less then if you DIY. One warning tough: the family members of the owner come over every day and when they say casually they would walk with you to Rose Valley (so you won't get lost), remember there is no free lunch: it is businese and they will charge you 20 lira for it--later. Personally I don't think rashing though the mucky ground for two or three hours worth the money. When we walk with the father of the owner, the church was closed(I guess he knew it but we didn't) and the sun never goes up so there is no sunset(that't not his fault but should discount the 2 lira for the ticket to the view point where we never went). Much better off just DIY with easy one hour walking: when you see the sun in the sky around 3PM, get off walking via the main road in Avanos direction and once you see an horse ranch on your righ, make the turn toward the pink rocks and you'll see the sunset in time that will stick on your brain for life. | |

The location is just perfect, cause it's right in front of the bus station (otogar) from Goreme. It's not a cave! But the prices are really cheap! I mean really cheap. Take it, and you will not regret! | |

The guys were really friendly and helpful (and not at all sleezy!). Home cooked food was really tasty - let them know your budget and they will sort something out for you! Everything was really clean and comfortable. This place is no more than 2 minutes walk from the bus station (with mini-market - atm - payphone). If you are looking for a party place - this isn't it - but if you're looking for a good night's rest with friendly hosts and decent facilities all at a bargain price - look no further! | |
