Bozburun is a picturesque fishing village, set within a secluded bay, with tranquil waters, surrounded by panoramic views and pure romance. Mountains in every direction and as you gaze out onto the horizon, you can see the Greek Islands of Symi and Rhodes. The famous Turkish Gulet boats are made locally and you can see the builders at work.

Built by Ramazan Olgun his family in 91, this place has a million dollar location - immediately on the waterfront ! Yet it still remains quiet and tranquil; and most of all, with a family ambiance that makes you feel instantly at home.

You can choose to chill out totally in one of their hammocks strung amongst the herb gardens; soak up the sun on their beach patio or sip on a beer or raki and admire the sunset colours. There are kayaks to explore the extensive, sheltered bay, and breath-taking views from hikes along the hillsides. The little village of Bozburun is just 15mins walk away, or a few minute ride in their little transfer boat. This is one of the last villages to still have a thriving traditional wooden boat building community; its fascinating to watch the local craftsmen still at work here.

All relaxed and looking for a little more activity after a while? Ramazan can organise all sorts of other local adventures; a fishing expedition with the locals perhaps ? sailing, horse-riding, hiking to a local waterfall, other historic areas nearby.
