Excellent breakfasts and wonderful view over the Bosphorus. Owners very helpful with excellent English, and quickly rang a shop for us to sort out a problem. A quiet street so slept very well. | |

We had booked a room with shared facilities but they were just finishing off renovations and now only have private bathrooms. We were the first to stay in our room. The service and hospitality was excellent. The breakfast included was one of the best we have had in our month of travel around the Middle East, made even better by the views from the roof top terrace. When we first checked in WiFi was only available on the terrace but 1/2 way through our stay they upgraded their modem and we had wifi in our room. | |

We stayed here last May and really enjoyed everything Marmara had to offer, so didn't hesitate to book again this year. The location is perfect, the people are wonderful - and the rooftop terrace on a warm, fine day is just amazing!! | |

The guest house is in a superb location, a short walk from Aya Sofia, Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque. The reception staff, Elif Aytekin and her cousin, Esin Sengul, speak excellent English and are extremely pleasant and helpful. In good weather, breakfast can be eaten on an open air rooftop terrace, with partial views over the Sea of Marmara. | |
