This place is absolutely loaded with character. We stayed in a cave room that was literally accessed through a small opening in the cliff face at the top of a ladder. But the room (112) opened up into an amazing place. Hardwood floors, comfortable sleeping for 3, fireplace in the corner, Turkish floor couches throughout and a huge bathroom with tons of hot water. The hosts are very efficient, quite friendly and helpful. The breakfasts ate delicious, varied and plentiful. I would definitely stay there again and without hesitation recommend it to my friends. Youve just got to see Cappadocia! One of the highlights of our trip.

The room we had was nice, really big and clean. However, the water in our room was not fully heated. It was lukewarm, but would not get much above room temperature. Otherwise, food was great, the staff were nice and the facilities were excellent. All-in-all, a good experience.

This hotel is great value! The owners are very helpful in making sure you enjoy the surrounding sites. They took us through the town personally to show us where to start our hikes, set up tours, arranged picnic lunches through local restaurants. Would highly recommend.

I would highly recommend the Star Cave Hotel. The owner went out of his way to show us his beautiful city and surrounding areas. He set up tours to the underground city and Ilhara Valley for our group of eight, and also helped us get started on hikes from his hotel and organized picnic lunches.

Fantastic place to stay in Goreme - only a short walk from the bus station (5 mins), really comfy dorm room (And while i was here I had it all to myself), fresh sheets and warm doona, rooms are heated well, bathrooms are really clean and shower is hot and has great pressure. Breakfast good value, and owners helpful and generous with their time to show us around Goreme. Definitely recommend.

The fairy chimney room was just fabulous -- beautiful, cool, elegant. Worth the extra charge. In fact, if you are not a college student you might like to be "above it all" here.
