The place was as described: true caves and fairy gimeneys. We got room 5 on the ground-floor (twin room ensuite, 25 EUR per night per 2 person). It was shoking: very-very-very dirty and dark small cave, 2 beds looking like for vagabonds, bad smell, single lamp above the door for lightning. First idea was to move to another place immediately, but we decided not to make quick decisions. But! When we came to this room at the evening to sleep, I found a hige number of bad-bugs on the bed back!!! The only wish was to move this place immediately and 7 a. m. in the morning we move to another hostel - much better for the same price. I travelled many countries and usually concern easy to the hotel's comfort - but this place was really bad. The stuff is friendly but they need to clean their property, buy new beds, repair furniture and electroconducting to make their hostel cosy. We met 6 people from our country in this hostel at the same time and asked them do they like their stay. They said: "First days it was awful but at the end we got used to". As for me - I don't wand "to get used to", especially because for our country 25 eur per 1 day is enough big money.

Nice place to stay at. By the way - if you come by bus to Nevshehir there is a travel agency waiting for you. They'll tell you that they offer a free shuttle bus to Goreme. The next second you sit in their office and they will tell you about their tours. If you decide to join them tell them that you're staying at traveller's cave pension and that you are going to join the tour at the hostel. It might be a good basis for your negotiations. If you're staying at the hostel you can also take part in their tour. The tour is everywhere the same. In any event don't forget to negotiate about the price. ;-)

Simply the best--we stayed an extra night b/c we didn't want to leave! The staff are so friendly and helpful, the breakfast is yummy, the location is perfect, and the cats are THE BEST. The ONLY drawback is that our room did get a little musty. but hey, it's a cave. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

It was good but they only turned the heater on after 7pm and off it at 7am in the morning. It was a bit too cold for me and once we stayed in the room at noon time and it was freezing (about 1 or 2 degree celsius). If you go Cappadocia in Summer time then tit wouldn't be a problem and this hostel will be a good choice!! The staffs are really nice!

The most honest of all hotels i've lived in turkey. after staying here that i realised i've been cheated by ZAIS travel agency in Istanbul, recommended by Budget Istanbul Hostel owner, Yusuf. He was a party to the deceit when he told me it was reasonably priced, asked me to NOT worry as he knew the owner of the agency and they r trustworthy and i trusted him & them. But eventually learned that I was over-charged by USD200 for the travel cost + short-changed of my tours in Cappadocia, which left me penniless.

The staff were really friendly and helpful and the whole place had a lot of character. Would definitely stay here again.
