Great location and the staff were FANTASTIC ! had SUCH a fun evening being entertained by the delightful conversations on rooftop kitchen. Genuine, authentic Turkish hospitality at its best. Air con was awesome too ! gave us own towels too ! | |

Tulip Guesthouse was great! i stayed in three different hostels while in Istanbul (Tulip Guesthouse, Marmara Guesthouse [wich is next door], and the Orient Hostel). Tulip was the best value for our money. Very clean, staff was extremely friendly and helpful, perfect location in Sultanahmet close to the restaurants but not on the maing drag where it can be noisy. Highly Highly Recommended! | |

Great locaton - cant be beaten, n sultanahmet whch s where you want to be for all the sghts, exceptonally nce staff that go out of ther way to help you n any way they can. Breakfast was also great and free hot drnks are avalable all day. Very clean, towels and sheets were changed every day whch was a nce lttle touch :) and free nternet! Would defntely stay here agan! | |

I really liked the friendly staff and the very good atmosphere at Tulips guesthouse. Definitly this is a good place to meet other travellers. Especially Metin is the most helpfull guy I ever met in Turkey. Whenever you need some information, these guys will do the best to help you. Indeed Mertin took us around a whole day through parts of Istanbul, we never would have seen without him. Anyway there is a delicious breakfast in the morning and Tea and Coffee is free all day. | |

The best thing about Tulip Guesthouse is undoubtedly its staff - they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and to help you figure out what to do and see in Istanbul. From giving a backstreet tour of real neighborhoods to honest conversations about living in Turkey, Metin and Enes offer concrete services as well as a friendly welcome. | |

Great place to stay!! Would definitely recommend this to both backpackers and couples too. Fantastic complimentary breakfast, very clean and all the facilities you could need (internet/kitchen/bathroom/air con/linen) all included! More importantly the hospitality of Metin and everyone else is like being part of the family, and sold the stay for us. Thanks for the fresh fish! | |
